Abstract:

“Education 4.0: Re-Skilling Education for the Future”

You might be hearing a lot of trendy words about education; The 4thIndustrial Revolution, 21stcentury Learning Skills, Personalized Learning, The 4Cs’, Innovation, AI education, the list goes on and on. The latest phrase is “Education 4.0”but what is it? Is “Education 4.0” just another trendy phrase or does it really have a purpose in Korea?  Is Education 4.0 different from the 4thIndustrial Revolution or is it part of it? Aren’t we already in the middle of curriculum change in Korea? These are just some of the questions we will explore during this presentation while examining the key features of this new phrase and discussing implementing it into our classroom curriculum.
