Korea 101 and AI in writing classes – JNJ KOTESOL, March 2024 workshop

JNJ KOTESOL kicked off the new academic year with its March workshop featuring two
presenters.

First up, Sarah Mack, an American with 11 years' experience living in Korea, shared her
insights on how to survive and thrive here. She addressed employee and tenant rights,
unusual laws, and how to approach qualifying for an F visa.

Next, Victor Reeser from the State University of New York, Incheon Campus, explored how
to maximize the potential of generative AI in writing classes, from lesson planning to
providing feedback.

Next month, we celebrate spring with a walk at Gijijae Waterside Park.

Members and non-members welcome: the more, the merrier.
