Kang and Kriel Recruitment
I am Chanhyung Kang, CEO of Kang & Kriel Recruitment and TEFLNews.org, with over 30 years of teaching experience in private English education, as well as specializing in recruiting TEFL teachers. Even though I am new to KOTESOL, my commitment to educator welfare is longstanding, as evidenced by my advocacy for foreign teachers in Korea, particularly in addressing labor and immigration challenges. Through TEFLNews.org, I have created a platform for supporting these educators' rights and needs. My proposal for a Special Interest Group within KOTESOL aims to extend this support, fostering a comprehensive network for the professional and personal growth of English language educators especially in the private sector in Korea.
