A new semester means new classes, new energy, and plenty to juggle. Take a break from the busy start and join us for a supportive afternoon of learning and connection with fellow educators.
One of our featured sessions will explore Multiple Intelligences Theory and practical ways to support diverse learners in the English classroom. The other will speak about resource development related to textbook publication.
We’re also building our 2026 workshop line-up and welcome educators who would like to share classroom ideas, teaching strategies, or research. If you’re interested in presenting at a future event, we’d love to hear from you.
Workshop Title: Multiple Intelligences – the theory and how to use it.
Abstract
How do you reach every student in your class? Do you change your teaching style each class in an effort to reach out? Do you use similar activities because you are comfortable with them but some students are left behind? What are your strengths? What things do your students like to do that you can use to help practice your lesson that are easy for you to use confidently? I have answers and will help you reach some of those difficult to involve students.
