Seoul, South Korea — Organizers behind KOTESOL2023, also known as the 30th Korea TESOL International Conference & PAC 2023, are celebrating a successful return to in-person international events. Welcome to the 2019 International Conference Publicity Team

The Korea TESOL International Conference (IC) is the biggest event on the KOTESOL calendar, with about two-hundred sessions and close to a thousand attendees.  It is a big event with a lot to offer, and the IC publicity team plays a huge role in getting the word out and ensuring that all the pertinent information is available and easy to find.

KOTESOL Member to give TEDx presentation

Active KOTESOL member, Wayne Finley, will be delivering a TEDx presentation on Friday, November 23rd in Daejeon.  Wayne credits KOTESOL for sparking his passion for public speaking, and his face has become a familiar one to those who frequent KOTESOL events.  He has given numerous presentations at chapter workshops, symposiums, and at national and international conferences.  His experience with KOTESOL provided the practice and confidence required to make it through the rigorous screening process to be one of 5 presenters selected for TEDxWoosongUniversity: Novel Perceptions: From Insights...

International Conference Call for Proposals Officially Closed

The Korea TESOL International Conference
Committee (ICC) offers a sincere ‘Thank you’ to everyone who submitted their proposals to present at the 25th Annual Korea TESOL International Conference.   

Close to 400 proposals were submitted before the call for presentations closed last week.   The vetting process is scheduled to wrap-up in early August.  Then prospective presenters will be notified.

31 May 2017 is the deadline for those wishing to submit a proposal for the 25th Annual Korea TESOL - PAC International Conference.  The conference,  21-22 October 2017 at Sookmyung Women's University, typically attracts about a thousand attendees from Korea, across Asia, and beyond.  It is a great venue for English educators, applied linguists, and scholars to present their expertise, share ideas, discuss experiences, and inspire others.

KOTESOL Apologizes for Comment by Presenter

KOTESOL supports non-discriminatory practices in English language teaching.  Recently, KOTESOL joined other TESOL organizations, and adopted 'TESOL International's Position Statement Against Discrimination of Nonnative Speakers of English in the Field of TESOL.'

KOTESOL International Conference committee members are gearing up for the 24th annual International Conference, ‘Shaping the Future with 21st Century Skills’.  At the conference, KOTESOL is debuting an interactive Media Station.  The Media Station is an outlet designed to connect teachers, attendees, presenters and volunteers while participating in professional development through workshops and presentations.
