Welcome to our Seoul Chapter Unconference!

Facilitators: Elizabeth May & Christopher Miller

Location: Gwanghwamun, Seoul --

Digital Josun Ilbo [Gwanghwamun Station] Education Center

After the KOTESOL International Conference at the end of April, many of us are full of inspiration and ready to gather for a brainstorming sesh.  This "unconference" is a chance to gather and discuss various ideas and ways to implement new pedagogy you would like to share.  Attendees may, if they wish, informally lead a 5 minute discussion or bring materials they wish to present.

Potential ideas include: best ways to spice up 'banal' elements of instruction or best practice for converting things that have traditionally been delivered via lectures into tasks that are more aligned with kinesthetic principles, or get students actively processing material.  Sites, tips, and tricks you have tried or want to get feedback on.  ChatGPT and how to establish parameters of its use. Anything pertaining to the realm of teaching, welcome.

This unconference is open to people teaching students of all levels and ages, or ELT students themselves who wish to listen in on the inner workings of educational planning.
