2:15-3:15pm Workshop: Fishing for English

Presenter: Ingrid Zwaal

Tired of worksheets? Listen-and-repeat getting you down? Want to hear your students willingly use English? Try adding games. In this practical session, Ingrid will share how to adapt the childhood favorite Go Fish for English classrooms. From vocabulary and full sentences to tenses and fluency, discover how this low-prep, high-fun activity gets students talking, repeating, and remembering.
You’ll also learn how to design your own card sets—and why you might want a laminator.
