WONJU MEETING

Yonsei University, Yonsei Plaza - 4^thfloor, room 414 OR altenatively at Yonsei ELP in downtown Wonju, near Lotte Cinema.  Other locations will be considered.

For those taking the bus, from the express bus terminal, you will want to catch a taxi to Yonsei University (Yonsei de hakyo). This will run you approximately 6,000won. Or, you could catch bus 90 outside of the express bus terminal and get off in MooSheeldong. Then, catch bus 30 to Yonsei (this will take a while...about an hour total because bus 30 runs once an hour).

From the downtown bus terminal, well, that is easy. Hop on bus 31 or 34 and ride it all the way to Yonsei University (unless you are coming from gangreung, seoul, or gwangju, you will arrive at the downtown bus terminal. In that case, just hop on bus 31 or 34. Either one will be about a 30 minute bus ride for only 1,100WON.

If driving from Seoul, take the South Wonju exit, and then take Highway 19 south, towards Chungju. There are signs on the expressway directing one to Yonsei University.

Once on campus, you want to go to Yonsei Town/Plaza. It's the second building on the left after crossing the bridge. The bus stops right in front of it.

Sokcho Office of Education - 3^rd floor conference room

The Sokcho Office of Education is short taxi ride from downtown or the bus terminal.

If driving from the direction of Chuncheon, the highway over Mishiryeong (pass) leads directly to the building. On entering Sokcho, you'll cross a large underpass (by the first big apartment complex you see, on your right, & KB Bank condo on your left) -- continue about half a kilometer & it's the first turnoff to the right. Blue sign, a small gate, & a large middle school (Sok-jung) in view behind the building.

If driving from the south up the coastal highway, turn left at Anam Plaza (a 20-story commercial building just before downtown). Go about one kilometer & turn right at the underpass noted above just past the last lights before you leave town.

Then proceed as above.

There is ample parking at the front door.
