Christian Teachers SIG's Facilitators
Facilitators:
Heidi Vande Voort Nam (MA TESL/TEFL) teaches in the Department of English Education at Chongshin University, where she runs a teacher-training course in Christianity and ELT. She is particularly interested in the relationship between faith and pedagogical practice. Heidi lives in Seoul with her husband and their two children.
Virginia Hanslien is from Calgary, Alberta in Canada, and has been teaching in South Korea for over 10 years. She has been teaching conversation, writing, and a few elective courses at Korea University’s Jochiwon campus for the last five years. She has an MA in Intercultural Studies from Prairie Graduate School (associated with Prairie Bible College). Her professional interests include motivation, professional development, and materials design. She is married and has 3 children.
Grace Wang (MA TESL/TEFL) is a professor of college English at Yonsei University. She has taught at top universities in Korea and Thailand, as well as at the United Nations. She is the author of iEnglish® books and founder of the iEnglish® Language and Research Center (www.ienglishR.org). Her professional interests are task-based curriculum and materials development, and computer-assisted language learning. She lives in Seoul with her husband.
